Although the number of Church weddings is on the decrease, there are still those who choose to marry in a religious setting and this page is designed to provide ideas and thoughts of music suitable for Church services.
Most church wedding services contain two or threee hymns or songs. There is nothing more awkward or embarrassing than a congregation not joining in, leaving the organist and vicar (or minister) to sing on alone!
One thought to avoid this is to choose hymn that or well known, or at the very least, a tune that is familiar.
The following songs are linked to You tube and will open in a new window. Please note that the songs and hymns featured here are played by a varity of soloists, choirs, congregations and instruments. You will need to find out what music provision your venue has.
